Admiral Dingy is a character in every sense of the word. His friends think that he is dingy, daffy, square yards short of a full sail; they also know him as a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky, adventurous, enterprising guy who dreams big then sets out to make his dreams come true.

Our Admiral is setting sail on a 9' dinghy because:

 (1) nobody's done it.
 (2) a dinghy can go down a river, up a creek, on a lake and other places a ship can't.
 (3) this is the best way to see the world and meet everyone.

Admiral Dingy attracts attention wherever he goes. He dresses in costumes reminiscent of clothing worn by gentlemen in the 1700s. He designed and made these costumes himself. He is also a world class Dancer, Movie Maker, Writer and Lecturer.

Admiral Dingy is a self taught, amateur biologist and is particularly concerned with marine ecosystems. This voyage is also a way to explore and appreciate our blue planet.

Admiral Dingy resides on a 62' sailing ship named Neptune's Castle, currently anchored on the Texas Gulf Coast in Orange County, in a passage called Cow's Bayou.

     Welcome aboard!

The purpose of this web site is to record the adventures of Admiral Dingy as he travels around the world in a 9' dinghy.

Our goal is to be educational, informative, but most of all FUN!

We welcome your input.

We'll post our progress on the ship's log when at sea, we'll comment on current events when on land.

We'll be producing a book for adults, one for children, and a movie.
